The other night my husband and I celebrated our friends birthday out at dinner. Of course since it’s also been a while since “date night” (I can’t even remember the last time we were kid free), I had to do it up! The night of the dinner I was going through my closet trying to figure out what to wear (naturally) when I came across these shorts from H&M.
I had order the shorts about a month earlier and hoped it would go with the white ruffled sleeve blouse I featured in a previous post called “Untitled II.” The shirt was an “okay” look with the shorts, but it wasn’t a “wow” factor for me. I knew I had an alternate top (black top) that would work along with my faux leather jacket. Though I preferred boots, I went with a pair of pumps, (which I typically stage and wear just in photos, because they hurt my feet) for sexier look.
This look could not have been complete however, without the proper accessories! The fishnet net stockings and addd clutch really made my outfit pop in a sophisticated and chíc look. We had a wonderful evening of celebration with good food and laughter. I will admit when the doors open and I saw the inside of the restaurant, I thought someone was going to tell me my outfit was inappropriate 😳. I’m glad to say they didn’t and I survived the night in my shoes too! 😂😂😂
